article from Vinothèque (Japan), Mitsuhiko Terashita - february 2020 - 02/2020
La Madone 2017: mainly composed of Grenache, notes of violet, white pepper and purple plum condense around a solid attack on the palate. Its freshness and long lingering finish make it a majestic Languedoc meditation wine. The organic conversion (started when the Estate was purchased in 2015) has allowed the emergence of this very expressive wine.
A la recherche du grand Languedoc... - La revue du vin de France - 11/2019
This month, Revue du Vin de France publishes in an article, by Pierre Citerne, about the tasting that we organized on April 15 at the Montirat estate.
We proposed a blind tasting of great wines of Languedoc and Roussillon, with the presence of a bailiff.
A dozen tasters were present. The results offered an "unexpected prize list", in which we proudly find our Madone in second place.
We recommend you to read this article without any concession which, in addition to the winners of this tasting, offers a very fair vision of the region.
Proeven en genieten tijdens wijnsafari in Languedoc-Roussillon - Telegraaf - 11/2019
Calmel & Joseph is cited as a must address by Marieke'T Hart. She highlights our organic vines and manual sales but also the activities of the area (horseback riding, electric scooters, electric bikes ...) and wine tourism in our upscale lodgings in the heart of the vineyard (with heated pool and sauna).
Jamie Goode suggestions - October 2019 - 10/2019
This is a rich, ripe, fruit-driven wine full of warmth.

Terre et Vins, hors-série SUD (october 2019) - 10/2019
Classic in the best sense of the word, with finesse and balance, it will seduce all audiences.
Saint-Chinian Blanc 2016 - HARPERS (october 2019) - 10/2019
White Grenache, Roussanne, Vermentino and Viognier brings southern France instantly to mind with this floral yet smoky blend. There's a lot going on here, from a deceptively pale colour to a surprising minerality and a touch of oak that adds an appealing smokiness to the overall aromatic profile. Made in Saint-Chinian at the heart of the Hérault, this wine is a great example of the diversity that this often under-sold part of France has to offer.
