Viognier Blanc 2018 (Villa Blanche) : top scores at the Decanter World Wine Awards
Our Villa Blanche wines are always made from just one grape variety. We sometimes blend different parcels of the same grape for extra nuance and complexity, but you get a picture of what the grape in question can do. For our Villa Blanche Viognier 2018 we picked the grapes at night, in two stages, at an interval of two weeks. We do this to get freshness in the first batch, and then concentration and varietal character in the second. Given the time and trouble we go to, it’s always gratifying when our wines get medals and scores, so we’re pretty pleased to be one of the IGP Pays d’Oc 90+ point scoring names in this Decanter World Wine Awards article https://www.decanter.com/decanter-world-wine-awards/languedoc-roussillon-dwwa-440532/
