Earlier this year we organised a blind tasting pitting top Languedoc-Roussillon wines (including our own La Madone 2017) against well-known producers from the Southern Rhône (including Châteauneuf-du-Pape). An independent jury of 13 specialist journalists from France, Germany, the UK and USA tasted and rated the wines, and Decanter’s James Lawther wrote up the results.
