Brilliant cherry red. This 2021 vintage has a much fresher profile with a swathe of red fruit like cherry, redcurrant, crushed strawberry, with the well-balanced nose also offering hints of menthol and spicy notes of white pepper and cinnamon. Deliciously smooth and generous in the mouth with supple, melting tannins and the same red fruit with cherry, pomegranate, wild strawberry but also laurel and juniper. A magnificent, fruit packed Merlot of superb balance and tension.
